BioElectronics

Liu Group

The NUS Bioelectronics Lab develops bioelectronic technologies that interface with living systems. Our research spans wearable, implantable, injectable, and ingestible devices for biological monitoring, therapeutic intervention, and closed-loop operation. We engineer tissue-adaptive materials and neural interfaces for bidirectional electrical communication, alongside electrochemical, enzymatic, and biohybrid sensors for molecular and physiological sensing. Our work is complemented by computational methods for sensor and neural data analysis to advance fundamental neuroscience and next-generation bioelectronic medicine.
